One Stop Sponsor Shop

St. Alphonsus Catholic School has provided an unparalleled academic and Christ-centered education for families of our community for over 130 years. Its dedication to excellence is built upon the faithful generosity of our parents, alumni, and friends in our community. The PTO has charged the Sponsorship Committee with raising funds to accomplish various projects throughout the year. These “extra” projects help ensure our children have an unmatched experience at St. Alphonsus and include endeavors such as renovations to the PreK/Kindergarten Playground, iPads for classrooms, welcome yard signs for new families, contributions to the school endowment, and the annual Sweetheart Dance. *The deadline for Night of Neon sponsorships is Monday, October 9th.

Fall Break

St. Alphonsus School is closed on Thursday, October 5th, and Friday, October 6th, for fall break. Classes will resume on Monday morning, October 9th.

Blessing of the Pets

St. Alphonsus students are invited to bring their furry, scaly, slithery, and soft family members to this year’s Blessing of the Pets on October 4th. On Wednesday at 2:15 p.m. on the track, the St. Alphonsus’s clergy will bless our families’ faithful friends and offer a special prayer in your pet’s name. Parents are encouraged to bring pets immediately prior to the blessing and meet the children out on the track. Pets must be leashed or in their cages. Pictures of pets and plush animals are also welcome.

Bishop’s Visit

Bishop Kihneman will visit St. Alphonsus School on Friday, September 29th, and participate in morning Mass. It is an honor to have him at our School to teach and celebrate Mass. We hope you will join us for this special day.

The students of St. Alphonsus Catholic School have a foundation in faith. Students receive direct Catholic religious instruction with a focus on scripture, prayer, and faith community experiences on a daily basis. Students attend mass each Friday or on the Holy Days. Parents are welcome to attend Mass and are asked to sit behind the classes as students worship together. Second grade through sixth grade prepare and lead the liturgy throughout the year. Kindergarteners and first graders may participate during the spring semester. Students participate in the greeting, readings, choir, offertory procession, and altar serving.
